A
major decision was made this morning when we all agreed that we just wanted to “chill"
out at the condo. We had been receiving photos of the snow back in Maryland and
we were thankful again that we are in this place at this time.
Cordell and Jim took a walk through our community.
Barb and I spent time on our computers doing “important
stuff”. We haven’t yet decided how many seniors it takes to figure out how to
operate Windows 8.
Barb took almost 300 photos yesterday at the Everglades. All
of us are sharing photos so it was quite a task to download all the images from
two cameras and two iPhones.
We enjoyed spending some time at our community pool this
afternoon. Besides the large pool at the club house, each section here at
Spring Run has its own pool. Barb and Jim swam laps while Cordell and I took it
easy!
We have had some tough choices the last few days. Do we go
to the pool or the beach? Do we eat fresh strawberries and ice cream or cake
and ice cream? Do we eat in or go out for dinner? Do we grill outside
or prepare something inside? Which DVD do we watch? Do we have red or white
wine? Do we wear short or capris? Is it a decent time to go to bed? Do we grill
chicken or steak? That one was an easier choice—we grilled both!
We finally ate up the last of the birthday cake we bought a
few days ago. We have been celebrating our friend, Barbie’s birthday for 4
days. Too bad she couldn’t be here to celebrate with us.
Jim was kicked back "watching" college basketball on TV..
