Today we worshipped at Hope Lutheran Church. We attended this church one time last year when Christian artist, Paul Oman, painted two pictures during a service which included songs and Scripture reading. His desire is to use mural art to touch lives with the Biblical story and inspire faith. Those pictures are mounted on the wall in the rear of the sanctuary.

We spent the remainder of the day inside watching the NFL playoff games. We were glad that the Baltimore Ravens won their game and advanced to the next round. I had mixed feelings—it was so nice seeing the Colts uniforms in Baltimore again, but I am still angry about they were spirited out of Charm City in the middle of the night. It was not a good game for our Redskins, but at least they are the division champions and no one can take that away!

During the afternoon, Cordell remarked that it was just like being at home except that it is warmer here and he felt like he should be outside cutting grass or something!
