The four of us went to Hope Lutheran Church to worship
this morning. I was disappointed that the regular Pastor was not there today.
The service was led by Rev. Juan Gonzales, Mission Equipping Pastor. His
message challenged us to become a blessing to others through our words, prayers
and deeds.
After church, we came back to our condo, changed our
clothes, ate our lunch and took off for Sanibel Island. This was our third trip
there.
Our plan today was to spend time on Bowman’s Beach so that Janelle could
look for seashells.
The gulf water was warmer today than any time since we
have been here. It was very comfortable to play in the water.
Janelle dug a hole in the sand and then sat in it!
Of course, we had to make a stop at Pinocchio’s and get
some of their delicious homemade original Italian ice cream. Cordell and I had Sanibel Krunch, one of the
more than 130 flavors they make.
This was Janelle and Corinne’s last night with us. We
took them to The Fish House Restaurant at the Bass Pro Shop.
Before turning in for the night, Cordell and Janelle
shared text messages and then they were found and busted again hiding in the
kitchen eating ice cream!!

LOL!!! They are quite the little sneaks! I hope Janelle found tons of good shells! The shells were Tyler's favorite thing that I brought back for him! He didn't want the little alligator with the hoodie -- he gave it to Luz! But he wanted ALLLLLLL the shells! I did split them up evenly between them though! And I kept 3 for my little shell shelf in my living room! :)
You are indeed a blessing through your prayers, thoughts and deeds.
